Not a Hollywood Square

Pete LaCock was a big first baseman/outfielder for the Chicago Cubs and the Kansas City Royals in the 70's. LaCock also is the son of Peter Marshall, the original host of The Hollywood Squares. LaCock had the distinction of wearing 4 uniform numbers (22, 23, 24 and 25) during his 5 seasons with the Cubs.
He was one of my first favorite Cubs and he was an incredibly nice guy when I met him last year. LaCock regaled us with tales of his old Chicago teammates.
Pete LaCock and me at AU Sports in Skokie, IL-Summer 2007.

I never knew he was Peter Marshall's kid. I always thought he should have been a better player than he was.
